Just like coffee and cream, wealth associate Noelle Brown and retirement plan advisor Megan Berger are better together. How long have you worked together?
Noelle: Megan and I started working together in the summer of 2023.
Megan: Noelle joined the RPS department in June 2023 – we have worked together since!
Why did you choose ‘coffee and cream’ as your pairing?
Noelle & Megan: We chose coffee and cream because we are both coffee lovers and can’t function without our morning coffee. We go together like coffee and cream because when we collaborate, we complement each other and create better outcomes than either of us could alone.
How does working together help you better serve customers?
Noelle: Collaborating as a team helps us better serve our customers, especially since Megan consistently provides guidance and mentorship. As I continue to expand my knowledge in this field, I’m better equipped to meet a wide range of customer needs.
Megan: Working together has significantly strengthened both our individual capabilities and our collective impact; we share the same mindset, which is focused on delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring that every task is completed thoroughly. Because we can always depend on each other, we are able to serve our customers more effectively.
What have you learned from each other?
Noelle: Megan has taught me over the years how to develop a stronger work ethic, become more effective in my role, and has consistently demonstrated great patience when assisting me with my questions every day.
Megan: Noelle always supports me, both personally and professionally, by helping me maintain perspective and see the bigger picture. She models what true collaboration looks like and is always willing to lend a helping hand.
What are the best parts of your job?
Noelle: The best part of my job is educating participants on the importance of saving for retirement. I enjoy helping individuals understand how their decisions today impact their financial future. It allows me to make a meaningful difference in their long-term security and comfortable retirement.
Megan: The best part of my job is collaborating with such a supportive team. Together, we create an environment of mutual inspiration and encouragement that enables each of us to thrive in our role.
If you could give each other a gift, what would it be?
Noelle: If I could give Megan a gift, it would be a relaxing day all to herself — a chance to enjoy a massage, get her nails done, and take a break. She works so hard both here and at home and she truly deserves a day to herself to relax and recharge.
Megan: Noelle is getting married in August – if I could give her a gift, it would be to have a care-free wedding. One where stress fades away and nothing remains but pure joy. A day where she gets to have the wedding of her dreams.
