Dynamic Duos: Kiana & Isaac

Just like salt and pepper...

Just like salt and pepper...

Like the classic pairing of salt and pepper, Wealth Associates Kiana Maxon-Fred in Bismarck Town Centre and Isaac Blas Fernandez in Minot each bring unique strengths to the table. Together, they combine their knowledge, experience, and relationship-focused approach to help customers navigate important financial decisions with confidence. By collaborating across markets and supporting one another, they deliver the personalized service and trusted guidance that Bravera customers have come to expect.

Why did you choose ‘salt and pepper’ as your pairing?

Kiana: We chose “salt and pepper” because we complement each other naturally. Individually, we each bring different strengths to the table, but together we create a balanced partnership that helps us deliver the best possible experience for our customers. Like salt and pepper, we’re different, but we work better together.

Isaac: Salt and pepper made sense for us because just as salt and pepper are so different from one another, they complement each other. Kiana and I are both different, but we bring the best out of each other. There are many things she is good at that I’m not, and vice versa. Instead of doing things ourselves, we lean on each other, and I think our customers benefit from our collaboration.

How long have you worked together?

Kiana: Isaac and I have worked together for 2 years. During that time, we’ve developed a strong understanding of each other’s strengths, communication styles, and approaches to serving customers.

Isaac: We have worked together for about a year and a half, and during that time, you learn a lot about how the other person thinks and likes to communicate, making it easy for one another to step in and help when it is needed.

How does working together help you better serve customers?

Kiana: Working together allows us to combine our perspectives and expertise to provide more comprehensive solutions. We are able to collaborate on customer needs, share ideas, and ensure that our customers receive timely, thoughtful service. Having a trusted teammate means we can be more responsive and better equipped to meet a variety of customer needs.

Isaac: Not everyone has the answer to everything, so it’s nice to have someone you trust to bounce ideas off of. For example, if I run into something unfamiliar, I know I can ask Kiana, and that teamwork and comfort help us solve problems more quickly, giving our customers confidence in us.

What have you learned from each other?

Kiana: I’ve learned a lot from Isaac’s approach to relationship-building, and he has helped me see situations from different perspectives. In return, I’ve been able to share my experience in communication, organization, and relationship building. We continue to learn from each other every day, which ultimately benefits the customers we serve.

Isaac: Kiana’s shared experiences in communication, organization, and relationship building give me a different angle on how to approach a lot of situations. In return, I have been able to show importance in building unique relationships with our customers.

What makes Bravera a great partner for customers?

Kiana: Bravera is a great partner because we focus on building lasting relationships, understanding our customers’ goals, and finding solutions that fit their unique needs. We combine local decision-making and personalized service with a genuine commitment to the communities we serve. Customers know they can count on us to be responsive, dependable, and invested in their success.

Isaac: Bravera is different because we go above and beyond for our customers. Rather than treating customers like numbers, we take time to get to know our customers, understand what’s important to them, and cater to their needs in a way that creates strong trust, and it’s because of our community that keeps people coming back.

If you could give each other a gift, what would it be?

Kiana: I’d give Isaac the gift of an extra hour each day. He’s always looking for ways to support customers and contribute to the team, and an extra hour would give him even more opportunity to do what he does best. It’s a simple gift, but one that I think he’d genuinely appreciate and make the most of.

Isaac: I would gift Kiana an extra vacation day. She works so hard and is always willing to help anyone on the team. An extra day to recharge would be well deserved.
