Teagan joined Bravera Insurance in May 2024 as a Personal Lines Department Intern in Dickinson. She graduated from Dickinson State University with a bachelor’s degree in business administration. Teagan is currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in finance and a master’s degree in business administration and entrepreneurship. Here's what she had to say about her experience:

What made you interested in an internship with Bravera?  

I was drawn to Bravera because of its strong presence in the financial and insurance sectors and its commitment to personalized service and community engagement. The opportunity to gain hands-on experience in both banking and insurance through a reputable organization like Bravera was an exciting prospect. It also aligned perfectly with my career goals and interests while being flexible with my other commitments of finishing school and playing basketball.

What knowledge have you gained from your internship?

Throughout my internship, I've gained invaluable insights into the intricacies of banking operations and insurance processes. I’ve developed a deeper understanding of client relationship management, policy underwriting, and the regulatory aspects of the financial and insurance industries. Additionally, I’ve improved my analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.

What has been the most rewarding part of your internship?

The most rewarding aspect of my internship has been working alongside such talented and supportive coworkers. I have been surrounded by a group of wonderful people, making my internship very impactful. Another rewarding part has been the ability to contribute to meaningful projects that directly impact clients. Partnering with knowledgeable and supportive mentors has provided me with practical experience and a clearer perspective on addressing client's unique financial and insurance needs. Seeing the tangible results of my work and building strong professional relationships have been particularly fulfilling.

What would you tell a student who is looking for an internship with Bravera?
