Bravera Bank
Dynamic Duos: Jaydan Kass and Leah Ehlis
Like you need a stick and puck for a successful game of hockey, Bismarck Relationship Bankers Jaydan Kass and Leah Ehlis combine their skills for a winning play, driving success together.
How long have you worked together?
Almost three years.
Why did you choose "stick and puck" for your pairing?
Jaydan: We chose “stick and puck” for our pairing because hockey is one of favorite things to do. You can catch us at most home hockey games sitting in the front row cheering on the home team!
Leah: One of our favorite things to do together outside of work is going to UMary hockey games together so it just made sense for our pairing to be hockey related. We work together really well, just like a hockey team needs to work together.
What have you learned from each other?
Jaydan: Leah has not only taught that you can have a close friend in and out of work but she has taught me that no matter the question, it is never too stupid to ask.
Leah: Jaydan has taught me how important it is to look at things from different perspectives and how this can this can lead to good problem solving.
What are the best parts of your job?
Jaydan: The best part of my job is the relationship I make with those around me on a daily basis. Connecting with coworkers and customers adds a personal touch to the work we do and make each day more enjoyable.
Leah: I love interacting with the students at UMary! It’s so rewarding to help them open their first bank account as they start a new chapter of their life.
If you could give each other a gift, what would it be?
Jaydan: I would give Leah a cat! I know she has wanted one for quite a while.
Leah: A brand new car! Especially in the winter, there have been a few times that Jaydan has given me a ride to class and I wasn’t sure if we would get there in one piece.
How does working together help you better serve our customers?
Jaydan: We not only push each other towards greatness, but we also bounce ideas off each other with finding other ways to promote Bravera.
Leah: Jaydan and I both understand the importance of teamwork. This helps us to recognize each other’s strengths and serve customers to the best of our abilities.
