A Relationship Rooted in Reliability
Bravera and Des Lacs-Burlington High School’s banking relationship has been holding strong since 1994. Christopher Bachmeier, Superintendent of Des Lacs-Burlington High School explained, “Our relationship with Bravera is more than just transactions, it’s a partnership.” When asked how Bravera and Des Lacs-Burlington High School’s relationship allows staff to focus on priorities other than finances, Bachmeier responded, “I know I have a trusted reliable source that allows us to make decisions that are center-focused on students, which is the ultimate goal.”
Strengthening Projects That Shape the Future
Partnering with Bravera has allowed Des Lacs-Burlington High School to expand and thrive. Bachmeier highlights how Bravera has supported Des Lacs-Burlington High School’s projects, “Whether we need a new building or any type of sponsorship, Bravera is there for us. When we have that backing and that stability, it makes the worrying non-existent.” Bravera recently assisted Des Lacs-Burlington High School in maintaining new lights for the school’s football field. Bachmeier added, “Bravera has been a lead contributor for that project; helping not just the athletes, but also the spectators and the different people who come to our district and allow them to see the support.”

Bravera is committed to building and supporting local communities, including Des Lacs-Burlington High School. When asked how that local commitment aligns with the school’s values, Bachmeier answered, “Whether it be through sponsorships, scholarships and/or any activities – Bravera is there. They give scholarships to our students which allow them to have abilities they wouldn’t have without Bravera’s help.”
Minot State University
MSU and Bravera: A Partnership That Works
Rick Hedberg, the Vice President for Advancement and the Executive Director of the Development Foundation for Minot State University, described MSU’s partnership with Bravera, “Our relationship with Bravera has been very positive, and it starts with their people and their leadership. They have been a great partner for MSU and the development foundation.”
Supporting Student Opportunities
The university gives roughly $2 million per year to students through their investments, with the help of Bravera. “We need those results on an annual basis because we promise scholarships to students – Bravera plays a big role in that,” Hedberg noted.
Local Support That Makes a Difference
When discussing Bravera’s commitment to community, Hedberg mentions, “One of the reasons we entered into this relationship was because of Bravera’s relationship with MSU and our community. That is exactly what we wanted out of a partner.” Heberg also described MSU and Bravera’s partnership as positive and highlighted their aligned values of trust and importance in supporting communities.
