What made you interested in having an internship with Bravera?
I have heard very good things about the internships through Bravera. They give you a lot of direction in which path you want for your career, while also opening up your mind to other opportunities you may be interested in.
What knowledge have you learned during your internship so far?
During my internship, I had the opportunity to sit down with Melinda Kempel, Andrea Haider and Derek Binstock to discuss the different departments within Bravera Wealth and how they all work together to get their tasks done. I learned that it’s important to never stop asking questions and there’s always a way for someone to help out another. They all gave out great advice that I will always have in my back pocket. My coworker and supervisor, Dan Olson and Derek Hulm, have also taught me so much throughout my time here at the Burnt Boat Drive location and I can’t thank them enough.
What would you say to a student who is considering an internship with Bravera?
Ask questions, the only way to learn is to ask questions. Always keep an open mind and get to know the people you work with!
