Intern Spotlight: Brayden Bloms

Teytum Bullinger joined Bravera as a part-time intern in Dickinson through the Southwest Area Career and Technical Education Academy.
Brayden Bloms worked as an intern with Bravera Bank’s mortgage department in Mandan. He joined Bravera on May 31, 2025. This fall, he’ll return to North Dakota State University for his junior year, where he is studying finance.

What made you interested in having an internship with Bravera?

I was looking for something different for a summer job. In the past, I had done summer jobs that were just fillers. This summer, I wanted to start preparing for my future and career. I knew some family friends who worked at a bank, so I looked into working with banks. I reached out to Bravera because they were local and familiar to me. From there, I was able to secure an internship in mortgage.

What has been the most rewarding part of your internship?

The most rewarding part was the experience I gained and the people I worked with. I’ve learned many of the ins and outs of banking. My co-workers were eager to help me learn and teach me more. Even people from other branches were great—always offering their time to show me how banks operate. Now I have a foot in the door in the banking world and a better understanding of how it works. I hope this experience benefits me down the road.

What would you say to a student who is considering an internship with Bravera?

To anyone considering an internship with Bravera, I highly recommend taking the opportunity. Bravera is a great company with a bright future, and I’d love to come back and work here after my internship. The people you work with know what they’re doing and are willing to help in any way they can.
