Braden Zuroff joined Bravera Bank in October 2023, working part-time as an intern in our Operations Department. Braden is currently a student at Dickinson State University, working towards his Masters of Business Administration and Masters of Entrepreneurship degrees.

What made you interested in having an internship with Bravera?

I remember looking into internships around town and finding spotlights from previous interns. They all spoke highly of Bravera and the people they worked with and were extremely happy working here. After reading the responses, I knew I wanted to do an internship with Bravera. I continued to check for open positions until an internship spot opened up, and at no point during my internship did I think I made the wrong choice.

What knowledge have you gained from your internship?

A deeper understanding of the internal operations of a bank and many other things I was curious about prior to my internship. My internship has allowed me to see how each department in the bank works together to be successful.

What has been the most rewarding part of your internship?

The most rewarding part for me is to see what I’ve learned in school be applied in real scenarios. I find it easier to learn by experience and it is rewarding to actually use the skills I’ve learned in class. In addition to the learning experience, building new relationships and being part of the Bravera “family” has also been rewarding.

What would you say to a student who is considering an internship with Bravera?

Bravera will definitely take good care of you as an intern. As a student they will work with your schedule and allow you to work around your classes. Bravera also offers opportunities with various departments, making it easy to find the best fit for you. Overall, it is a great experience and you will learn a lot!
