BOULDER, COLO. -- The Graduate School of Banking at Colorado (GSBC) proudly announces the graduation of five banking professionals based in North Dakota, including Steve Zottnick, who serves as the Regional Business Lead, VP in Bismarck, ND.
Zottnick was among 166 graduates honored in a ceremony on July 27, 2023. Graduates receive their GSBC diplomas upon successfully completing the 25-month Gradute School of Banking Program that includes three two-week sessions of classroom training in July for three consecutive years on the University of Colorado Boulder campus in Boulder, Colo. He also completed six immersive intersession research projects throughout his time in the program, including a strategic topic project in which students tie directly to an issue or opportunity facing their organization.
GSBC’s curriculum is community banking-focused, delivered by expert faculty. All courses fall under one of four tracks: Financial Management & Strategy, Innovation & Engagement, Leadership & Culture or Lending.
The program’s capstone course is an in-depth bank management simulation, where students assume the roles of senior management of a commercial bank, involving themselves in the group dynamics and managerial skills of managing a bank in a competitive environment with changing economic conditions.
