A lifelong resident of North Dakota and originally from Drake, Kurt has been working in the financial industry since 1999. He oversees the daily operations at Bravera Bank in Drake. With more than two decades of experience, Kurt knows how to best meet commercial, agricultural and consumer financial needs. He also has firsthand agricultural experience. He lives on his family’s farm where he grew up and he farmed alongside his dad until 2019. “I have gained valuable experience working with farmers and ranchers through the highs and lows. I work with them through the good times, but am also there for them in the most challenging times.” Growing up on a farm gave him a hard work ethic. It also taught him responsibility, how to be a leader and to work through a problem or challenge while not making it into a bigger one. Kurt graduated from Bismarck State College and has completed the American Bankers Association Agricultural Lending 1 & Agricultural Lending 2 programs.
