Bravera Bank

Intern Spotlight: Teytum Bullinger

Teytum Bullinger joined Bravera as a part-time intern in Dickinson through the Southwest Area Career & Technical Education Academy. He is a high school senior who plans to study agricultural business at Dickinson State University after graduating this spring. Over the past few months, he has rotated through several departments, gaining experience in accounts payable, private banking, lending and loan administration.

What made you interested in having an internship with Bravera?Teytum: I’ve always wanted to work in the banking industry, specifically in ag lending. I took this internship because I thought it would be a great opportunity to explore all parts of banking and see if this is something I’d like to pursue in the future.

What has been the most rewarding part of your internship?
Teytum: The most rewarding part has been the experience I’ve gained. I’m only halfway through and I’ve already had hands-on experience in private banking, loan administration and an accounts payable project. It’s helped me understand what goes on inside a bank and what I might enjoy doing in the future.

What would you say to a student who is thinking about completing an internship with Bravera?
Teytum: Don’t be nervous or scared to do it. The team at Bravera is so nice and always willing to help. When I started, I didn’t know much about banking, but in just a few weeks, the team has taught me so much. It’s a great opportunity, and if you get the chance, you should take it.
