Intern Spotlight: Aaron Grubb

Aaron Grubb joined Bravera as an intern in Bismarck. He is currently a student at the University of North Dakota in Grand Forks, studying Management and Finance, and expects to graduate in May 2026. During his internship, Aaron is working primarily with Bravera Wealth and will also rotate through departments in Bismarck and Mandan to assist with projects and job shadow team members.

What knowledge have you gained from your internship?
The knowledge I’ve gained from my experience at Bravera so far is unbelievable. I came into this internship with very little understanding of wealth management, and in just a few weeks, I’ve learned so much — especially about managing personal portfolios and the 401(k) side of retirement planning. I also had the opportunity to sit with the operations team and see what they do for wealth. Overall, I’m learning something new every day, and it’s been nothing short of amazing.

What would you say to a student considering an internship with Bravera?
I’d tell them to come in with an open mind and be ready to learn. I was nervous on my first day and thought it would be overwhelming, but I quickly realized how welcoming the culture is. Everyone was more than happy to support me and make me feel part of the team. My nerves were gone after day one, and that doesn’t happen often. Bravera has a special group of people, and that’s made my learning experience incredible.

What has been your favorite part of the internship so far?
My favorite part has been sitting down with different people and departments to learn what they do day to day. It’s helped me figure out which areas interest me most — and which ones maybe don’t as much. I’ve said it before, but the work culture here makes a huge difference. Bravera’s culture is something truly special, and it’s something everyone should get to experience.
