Mobile Deposit

Save time by reducing trips to the bank! Using your smart phone camera, you can take photos of checks and securely deposit them into your Bravera Bank accounts, all without setting foot inside a Bravera Bank branch.
Mobile Deposit is currently available for:
  • Android (Operating System version 4.1 or higher)
  • iPhone (Operating System version 5 or higher)
  • iPad
The phone camera needs to be rear-facing and 4+ megapixel resolution with flash. Although some different devices will work for the mobile app, the camera specs may not be considered optimal for capturing images.

To troubleshoot your device, please check the phone specifications online or with your wireless provider. The entire check needs to be captured between the overlay boundaries on a flat, dark surface to ensure proper check imaging.

Image capturing tip:
To capture best image, tap to focus!
Mobile deposit is free for all Bravera Bank personal accounts. Standard wireless carrier charges may apply.

If you're a business interested in remote or mobile deposit, please contact a Digital Success Manger.
To deposit your check, you will need to endorse the back of the check you are depositing as “Mobile Deposit” or as otherwise instructed by Bravera Bank.

After confirming the check has been deposited into your account, we recommend that you write on the front of the check in ink these words: “Mobile Deposit on DATE” (where DATE is the full date you deposited the check by Mobile Deposit) then securely store the deposited check for a minimum of 30 days.

Keep your check in a secure place until you destroy/shred it. You should keep the check for 30 days after deposit to provide sufficient time should the original item be required for any reason. After 30 days it is ok to destroy the check.
As a general rule customer’s can deposit up to 5 checks per day with a maximum limit of 20 checks per month. Customers can deposit up to $2,000 per day with a monthly maximum of $10,000. Business customers should discuss limits with their Business Banking Officer.

It is important to track your deposit limits - both count and dollar! If your current deposit puts you over the limits set for daily or monthly deposits your deposit will not be processed. If you have surpassed your monthly limit, the check will then need to be deposited at an Bravera Bank branch.

You can deposit checks at any time. Deposits made through Mobile Deposit will memo post to your account but funds from items deposited will be available according to the Bravera Bank Funds Availability Policy, as amended from time to time. The funds availability policy is available at any Bravera Bank branch.

Bravera Bank will require a deposit to be made by 7pm CST via Mobile Deposit to post with an effective date of the day of deposit. If you deposit the check after 7pm CST it will post the following business day.  This will only post on the same day if there are no discrepancies with the deposit that need to be addressed.
