MANDAN, N.D. – Jared Schumacher recently joined Bravera Bank in Mandan in the role of agricultural banking officer. He has worked in the industry since 2020. Prior to joining Bravera, he worked for the U.S. Department of Agriculture Farm Service Agency in Pierre, S.D., and a bank in Herreid, S.D.

As an agricultural banking officer, Schumacher provides farmers and ranchers with banking and financing services that can help them manage risk and grow their operations.

He grew up working on his family’s feedlot, ranch and farm operation near Zeeland. Schumacher understands the demands each enterprise requires and the challenges that come with the ever-changing environment of the agricultural industry. He can also relate to the hard work, time and financial commitment it takes to make an operation succeed.

He earned a bachelor’s degree in animal science and agricultural economics from North Dakota State University.
